Calgary, July 10, 2009 — Bullfrog Power™, Canada’s leading 100 per cent green electricity provider, today announced that Swizzlesticks SalonSpa, a day spa and full-service salon, has agreed to bullfrogpower its Calgary location. Swizzlesticks has been using green power for the last ten years and recently decided to support clean, emissions-free electricity from Bullfrog Power as an important next step in its sustainability program.

Swizzlesticks SalonSpa has been an environmentally and socially conscious operation since opening its doors in Calgary more than 20 years ago. Together with Aveda, the organization is committed to fair trade and organic plant-based products, and Swizzlesticks recycles all packaging from the products it sells. The company is also a founding member of REAP (Respect for the Earth and All People), a sustainable business association in Calgary. As members of Calgary’s Adopt a Park program, staff and management at the SalonSpa help clean the local community’s river walk.
