Plantyourtree.ca was created to support the work of the Conservation Foundation of Greater Toronto (CFGT) and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). TN Marketing has been commissioned to develop marketing programs, which aim to help raise public awareness of local businesses that support the ideals of conservation, revitalization and natural living.
The Plant Your Tree Gift Card program offers companies the opportunity to give their customers and employees the gift of a live tree planted in the greater Toronto region. A “Living Legacy” to share with their co-workers, friends and children.
Gift cards are available in an e-card format or 100% Biodegradable plastic card made from Corn and Soy. Each recipient will receive a personalized eco-friendly e-certificate detailing the company sponsor and where their tree was planted on their behalf.
Each gift card directly funds the tree planting efforts of the TRCA. TRCA is proud to be a leader in watershed management in Ontario for the past 50 years. The Plant Your Tree program supports TRCA’s mission to work with partners to ensure that The Living City® is built upon a natural foundation of healthy rivers and shorelines, greenspace and biodiversity, and sustainable communities.
Our 2009-2010 goal is to pay for the planting of 500,000 trees, which will be planted in 4 high priority locations across the Toronto region.
The Plant Your Tree program is designed for the green business leaders in the community to promote their commitment to eco-friendly business practices while helping offset the costs involved in planting trees throughout the greater Toronto region.
