About Toronto Greenhouse
A Toronto-based business forum for the environmental sector, Toronto Greenhouse’s mission is foster the growth of the environmentally friendly “Green” business community.
Our primary activity is a monthly networking event, held at Steam Whistle Brewing.
This event brings together Green companies, investors and other friends of the green enterprise sector.
Overview of Events:
Toronto Greenhouse is a monthly event which includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and select presentation speakers. The event brings together people from different areas of the ‘Green’ industry in a forum to network, educate, an d conduct business. The purpose of the presentation speakers are to connect ‘Green’ sector public and private companies with investment interest from the ‘Green’ investment and business community. The main speakers will be ‘Green’, ‘Cleantech’ or Sustainability companies who have timely investment information and would like to share it with the financial community.
The attendees include: select contacts from the ‘Green’ sector, accredited investors, private company management, ‘green’ business owners, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, investment advisors, research analysts, retail investors, publicly traded company management, venture capital firms, private equity firms, consultants, business & intellectual property lawyers, fund managers, ‘angel’ investors, portfolio managers, media contacts and professional industry firms.
The events include speakers from the “Green” business community, along with displays of the latest environmentally friendly technology, products, services and supporting organizations. Selected individuals from “Green” companies will also have an opportunity to make a short “pitch” to the crowd, briefly describing their product/service and why investors should fund their business.
